Long nights of winter, spent indoors, gave you serene beauty.
Stark, like a graying moon.
Pure and delicate, I worried for your soul.
Now, the summer sun has laced your skin with gold.
All the color of life dances in the freckles on your face.
As your hair reaches desperately for the ground, closer with each moon,
you bind it up and I bear witness to the elegance of your nape.
You are beauty; you are the seasons ever changing.
I hope one day to be the axis about which you spin.
